I did this route in June 2024, parking the car near Cala Fornells and then going up to the Cap Andritxol tower, continuing to the end of the cape and finally going down to Caló d’en Monjo and then following the coast back to Cala Fornells. (Download GPX )
The day was very good for photography, but the route, which at first seemed very simple to me, turned out to be more complicated than expected, first because the path in many points is difficult to follow or practically non-existent and second because of the hot weather.

The Cap Andritxol tower was built in 1580 and was in use until the 18th century. In 1850 it was known to be in poor condition, but it was not until 2002 that it was restored.mymallorca.blog is licensed under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0
Cap Andritxol Tower and the nearby barracks that must have served as a stay for the ancient keepers. It is located on a rocky viewpoint about 180 m above sea level. Caló d’en Monjo is one of the most beautiful natural places on the island. Located in the quiet area of Cala Fornells. It is a wonderful natural cove located in the middle of a forested area. This virgin, u-shaped sea inlet ends in a tiny cove, where a torrent flows, and medium-height cliffs surround this quiet piece of coast.
